Kirstin Petersen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science at Cornell University's Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. She leads the Collective Embodied Intelligence Lab, focusing on collective robotic systems that exhibit emergent intelligent behaviors through local interactions. Her research interests center on collective robotic construction, swarm robotics, soft robotics, and human-robot interaction.
