Dr. Maurice O'Connell is a Research Associate in Statistics and Causal Inference at the University of Manchester's Division of Informatics, Imaging & Data Sciences. He holds a PhD in Health Economics & Statistics from the University of Limerick (2014–2019) and has prior experience as an actuary. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in biostatistics at the HRB Clinical Research Facility, University of Galway, and held lecturing/research roles at the University of Limerick and Munster Technological University.
