Hungyen Lin is a Research Fellow at the School of Engineering, Lancaster University , specializing in terahertz technologies and their industrially relevant applications . His work bridges material science , applied physics , and engineering . Education: PhD in Electronic Engineering, University of Adelaide MSc (Research) in Computer Systems Engineering, University of South Australia BSc (1st Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering, University of Adelaide Research interests include terahertz/optical sensing for pharmaceutical film coatings , graphene and 2D materials manufacturing , fuel cells , and composites . His recent publications focus on terahertz spectroscopy for water-state analysis in membranes and industrial sensing. Scientific awards include: IEEE Senior Member Royal Academy of Engineering Industrial Fellow Higher Education Academy Fellow His projects often involve collaboration with industry partners, such as Fujitsu Siemens Computers, and academic institutions like University of Cambridge.
