Dr. Zoran Visak is Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Aston University. His research focuses on sustainable solvents for lignocellulosic biomass treatment and thermodynamic properties of industrial mixtures. He has published over 50 papers on ionic liquids and phase equilibria.
Visak teaches heat transfer and process design, and directs the Chemical Engineering program. His recent work explores ionic liquid/graphene composites for energy storage applications.
