Zishu Cao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler. He holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Environmental Science from Lanzhou University (China). His research focuses on nano-engineering of microporous materials, particularly zeolites, for applications in membranes, catalysis, and environmental remediation. Key projects include developing nanosheet laminated membranes for energy-efficient separations and hierarchical adsorbents for wastewater treatment and biofuel recovery.
