Zhiqiang Lin is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University (OSU) and serves as the Director of the Institute for Cybersecurity and Digital Trust (ICDT). He is also the founding director of the Computer Security Laboratory (SecLab) and holds faculty positions at OSU's Center for Automotive Research (CAR), Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI), and NSF AI Institute for Future Edge Networks and Distributed Intelligence (AI-Edge).
Research Focus: His work centers on automated binary analysis for vulnerability discovery and malware analysis, system hardening via binary rewriting and trusted execution environments (TEEs), and security applications in mobile devices, IoT, Bluetooth networks, and connected/autonomous vehicles.
Labs & Affiliations: He leads SecLab at OSU and contributes to interdisciplinary research through CAR, TDAI, and AI-Edge. His research bridges cybersecurity with automotive systems and edge AI networks.
