Zhipeng Huang

Zhipeng Huang is a Staff Laser Scientist at the DELTA Center for Synchrotron Radiation and a guest scientist at University of Duisburg-Essen. His work focuses on ultrafast electron and nuclear dynamics at interfaces using advanced imaging and spectroscopy techniques.

• BSc in Physics (2011) from Shandong University
• Visiting Scholar (2013) at Colorado State University

His research spans ultrafast electron diffraction, nonlinear optical spectroscopies, and UHV apparatus development. Recent work includes azimuthal/polarization-dependent SFG for surface characterization and laser-driven bubble dynamics in glycerol. He has constructed instruments like a time-resolved SFG setup and gas-phase/solid-phase electron gun. Notable recognition includes the CENIDE Early Career Fellow award. His software tools (e.g., Femtolab data analysis GUI) and methodological innovations (e.g., lock-in amplifier photocurrent extraction) highlight his technical expertise in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, and LabVIEW.
