Dr. Zhiliang Wang is a Senior Lecturer and ARC Future Fellow at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland. His research focuses on renewable energy conversion technologies including solar-driven water splitting, CO2 fixation, and methane conversion. He has pioneered work in photocatalyst design, photoelectrode engineering, and defect modulation in energy materials.
His educational background includes a PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Research interests span:
- Design of advanced photocatalysts and photoelectrodes
- Oxygen vacancy engineering in metal oxides
- Solar-driven methane conversion to value-added products
