Zhetai Hu

Dr. Zhetai Hu is an Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology, The University of Queensland. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology, focusing on innovative wastewater treatment and resource recovery solutions.

Research Interests: Dr. Hu specializes in biological nitrogen removal processes (anammox, nitritation), iron-based chemical applications in wastewater, biofilm reactor systems, and urban wastewater valorization. His work addresses challenges in sludge management, methane suppression, and acidic environment bioprocessing.
