Zhenyu Zhang

Dr. Zhenyu Zhang is a Lecturer in Surveying and Spatial Science at the School of Surveying and Built Environment, University of Southern Queensland (Springfield Campus). With over 20 years of tertiary teaching experience, he specializes in geomatic engineering, GIS programming, remote sensing, and machine learning applications for geospatial data analysis. His work focuses on LiDAR technologies (terrestrial and airborne) for environmental management, 3D modeling, and high-resolution DEM generation.
