Zheng-Yang Huo is a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Bath's Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is affiliated with multiple interdisciplinary centers, including the Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio), Centre for Integrated Materials, Processes & Structures (IMPS), Centre for Regenerative Design & Engineering for a Net Positive World (RENEW), and the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems (SES). His research focuses on self-powered water disinfection technologies, leveraging nanogenerators and nanowire-based systems.
Research Interests: Huo specializes in sustainable engineering solutions for potable water production, combining nanotechnology with energy harvesting systems. His work addresses global challenges in clean water access through innovative, self-sustaining technologies.
