Zheng Yan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Missouri, with an adjunct appointment in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He joined the faculty after completing his PhD at Rice University (2009-2013) and postdoctoral training at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2013-2017). His research focuses on advancing soft electronics for health and robotics, with a particular emphasis on wearable bioelectronics and advanced manufacturing innovations.
