Zhen Gao is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus. Her research focuses on neural networks, adaptive control, fault-tolerant control, quantitative control, and event-triggered mechanisms. She holds a BSc from Shandong Technology and Business University (2015), an MSc from Qingdao University (2018), and a PhD from Chongqing University (2024), with a visiting PhD experience at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2022–2023).
Her academic journey includes interdisciplinary collaboration, and she contributes to advanced control systems and artificial intelligence applications. Funding for her work is supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program (Grant No. 739551) and the Government of Cyprus through the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy. The KIOS CoE also receives complementary funding from the University of Cyprus and Imperial College London.
Her work emphasizes practical solutions for complex control systems, leveraging both theoretical and applied research methodologies.
