Zhao Zhang

Zhao Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Theoretical Physics at the University of Oslo, focusing on mathematical methods to understand quantum many-body systems and statistical mechanical models. He teaches advanced courses in quantum mechanics (FYS4110) and statistical mechanics (FYS4130).

• Education: PhD in Physics (University of Virginia, 2017), BS in Physics (University of Science and Technology of China, 2012).

His research addresses quantum integrability, entanglement structures in low-dimensional systems, and applications to condensed matter physics and quantum technology. Recent work explores tensor networks, Bethe Ansatz, and frustration-free models.
