Zhai Yuqi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Art and Media, Tongji University. He holds a PhD in Urban and Rural Planning from Tongji University (2014–2021), served as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University (2018–2020), and completed postdoctoral research at Tongji from 2021–2025. He has been a Guest Teacher at the China Academy of Art (2021–2025) and joined Tongji's School of Art and Media as an Assistant Professor in 2025.
