Professor Zhai Jianpang serves as a faculty member at Shenzhen University specializing in advanced materials research and semiconductor education. His primary responsibilities include teaching core courses such as Photoelectric Detection Technology, Semiconductor Materials, Semiconductor Thin Film Technology and Physics, and Nanomaterials and Devices while leading industrialized research initiatives in crystal growth and nanomaterials.
His research program centers on Crystal Growth, Semiconductor Materials, and Nanomaterials with specialized expertise in Carbon Nanotubes assembly/characterization and low-dimensional Quantum Structures. Professor Zhai's work demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between optical properties research and quantum material engineering, particularly evident in his industrialized LED-grade sapphire crystal growth project.
