Zeynep Küçük

Dr. Lecturer Zeynep Küçük is a full-time academic at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences within Işık University, specializing in the Department of Psychology. She holds a PhD in Physiology from Istanbul University and has dedicated her career to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of neuroscience and psychology.

Her research focuses on neuroscience, neurophysiology, and cognitive psychology, particularly investigating non-invasive brain stimulation techniques like transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and their applications in epilepsy, pain modulation, and cognitive performance. While her academic articles emphasize clinical and experimental neuroscience, her teaching responsibilities span Cognitive Psychology, Behavioral Neurophysiology, and Sensation and Perception.

Advising and Teaching: Zeynep Küçük has supervised multiple theses on topics ranging from Parkinson’s disease to ADHD and substance use disorders. She has also taught courses in both Turkish and English, including Scientific Research Methods and Learning Psychology.
