Zeynep Berna Erdiller Yatmaz is an Associate Professor at Bogazici University, affiliated with the field of early childhood education. Her academic journey includes a PhD from Indiana University (2003) in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Family Studies, and a BA in Sociology from Hacettepe University (1997).
Research interests center on teachers’ beliefs and practices, professional development in early childhood education, historical and sociocultural perspectives on childhood, children’s rights, and curriculum design. Her work emphasizes understanding how cultural, institutional, and personal factors shape educational approaches for young children.
