Ze Hui Kong is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences and the Biological Stations. Holding a PhD in Ecology from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (awarded 2024), his research focuses on the impacts of marine heatwaves on coastal ecosystems, with expertise in metabarcoding and ecosystem ecology.
- Active project: Heatwave-driven rewiring of coastal food webs (2024–2028), funded by the Academy of Finland as part of the Academy Research Fellow program.
