Zdravko Lenac is a Full Professor at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Rijeka. He holds a PhD in Electronic Spectroscopy of Metal Surfaces (1980) and has held academic roles including Assistant Professor (1981), Associate Professor (1988), and Full Professor (1997). His career includes administrative roles such as Vice-Rector for Science (2000–2009) and Director for EU Projects and Innovations (2009–present).

- 1968–1973: BSc in Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb
- 1973–1976: MSc in Theoretical Solid State Physics, University of Zagreb

Research Interests: Focuses on quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, and theoretical physics. Specializes in Wigner lattice dynamics, Casimir effect, and quantum optics phenomena. His work explores electron correlations in low-dimensional systems and surface physics phenomena.
Grants & Projects: Participant and holder of over ten EU projects since 2000. Active in interdisciplinary research collaborations, including the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (1984–1998).
