Zdenek Martinec is a Professor of Geophysics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, and also works at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. His academic career spans over four decades, with postdoctoral work starting in 1977 and full professorship attained in 1999.
