Zakir Durumeric is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, affiliated with the School of Engineering. His research focuses on Internet security, trust, and safety, emphasizing empirical methods to measure networked ecosystems at scale. He founded Censys, a measurement platform providing global Internet data, and maintains tools like ZMap and Retina. Durumeric holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan (2017).
