Zakia Alhareth

Zakia Alhareth is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM), University of Oxford, specializing in the Malaria Programme's Pre-erythrocytic Vaccines research group. Her work is integral to Oxford's global health initiatives within the Medical Sciences Division.

Her research focuses on:

• Development of vaccines targeting the liver-stage (pre-erythrocytic) Plasmodium parasites
• Immune response mechanisms against malaria infection
• Translational strategies for malaria prevention and eradication
• Pre-clinical vaccine candidate evaluation
