Dr. Zahid Hussain is a Lecturer in Pharmacy at RMIT University's School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Tasmania (2019) and has prior experience as a clinical pharmacist at North Canberra Hospital and a part-time lecturer at the University of Canberra (2019–2023). His research focuses on Medication Safety, Pharmacy Practice, and optimizing drug dosing in specific populations like obese patients and geriatrics. Zahid is the course coordinator for third-year Clinical Therapeutics courses in the BPharm (Hons) program. He is open to supervising Masters and PhD students in relevant fields.
