Zahia Marzouk

Dr. Zahia Marzouk is a Professor and Department Chair in the Educational Studies department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with an academic background in Educational Psychology (MA, PhD) and TEFL (MA) from Simon Fraser University and American University Cairo, respectively.

Her research focuses on metacognition, motivational profiles, and instructional design, particularly how scaffolding strategies enhance student performance in digital learning environments. Recent work includes leveraging chatbots for real-time coaching and analyzing learners' motivational states via advanced software.
