Zahed Siddique, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Research and Dick and Shirley O'Shields Professor in the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He has previously served as the Director of AME at OU and is actively engaged in engineering design education, virtual prototyping, and additive manufacturing research.

His work extends to virtual prototyping, next-generation CAD systems, and design for sustainability, with recent emphasis on AI integration in additive manufacturing and defect detection.
His recent publications highlight trends in additive manufacturing, machine learning applications for imbalanced data, and human factors in engineering education. Articles analyze digital twins, diffusion models, hydrogen fuel challenges, and neurocognitive impacts of environmental conditions on student performance.
