Zachary Wolfe is Assistant Professor of Writing at George Washington University's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and the University Writing Program. He teaches first-year writing courses on law and social movements and advanced legal writing.
His research examines the intersections of law, protest, and social discourse, with publications including the treatise 'Hate Crimes Law' (updated annually) and contributions to 'Farnsworth on Contracts'. His scholarship analyzes how legal frameworks shape social movements and public discourse.
As a licensed attorney, he writes amicus curiae briefs for civil rights cases and serves on the advisory board of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund. He regularly participates in professional conferences on law, writing, and social justice education.
