Zachary Fisher

Zachary Fisher is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University's College of Health and Human Development. His research focuses on methodology, child development, adulthood and aging, and intervention/prevention strategies. He is affiliated with the Center for Safe and Healthy Children (CSHC) and actively conducts research in dynamic modeling, neuroimaging, and contamination bias correction in observational studies.

His recent work explores machine learning applications for physiological markers of affective experience, causal inference in child maltreatment research, and time series analysis for behavioral dynamics. He employs advanced statistical techniques such as integrative dynamic factor models and instrumental variable estimation to address methodological challenges in health sciences.
