Zach Anthis

Zach Anthis is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) at Neapolis University of Paphos (NUP). He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics from University College London (UCL), with an MSc in Quantitative Methods from UCL's Department of Culture, Communication, and Media. He has received significant funding, including a Full Doctoral Scholarship from the Centre of Digital Innovation (Amazon) and an ERA Chair Fellowship from the European Commission.

Prior roles include Senior Researcher at the Cyprus University of Technology’s Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Informatics; Associate Lecturer in Business Intelligence at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAn Cyprus); and Director of Education/EU Programmes at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). He also serves as a Teaching Fellow at UCL’s Knowledge Lab and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School.

His research interests span AI, machine learning, and interdisciplinary applications in culture and communication. He has reviewed for journals like International Journal of Human and Computer Studies, IEEE TPAMI, and Operational Research International Journal.
