Dr. Yvonne Curran serves as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine with dual appointments in Stroke and Vascular Neurology and Comprehensive Neurology. She concurrently holds the position of Medical Director for the Stroke Program at St. Anthony's Hospital in Lawndale, Chicago, where she leads initiatives to deliver equitable stroke care in underserved communities.
Her educational trajectory includes an MD from The Royal College of Surgeons In Ireland (1988), followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Ibin al Bitar Hospital (1989), Neurology residency at Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center (1994), Chief Residency in Neurology at Rush University (1995), Psychiatry residency at Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center (1995), and fellowships in EMG and Neuromuscular disease at Rush University (1996).
