Yvette Conley

Dr. Yvette Conley serves as Senior Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, holding dual appointments as Distinguished Service Professor of Nursing and Professor of Human Genetics within the Health Promotion & Development department.

Her research expertise spans:

• Molecular genomics applications in nursing science
• Precision healthcare approaches for neurological conditions
• Cognitive decline following traumatic brain injury, stroke, and cancer treatments
• Non-pharmacological interventions for symptom management
• Integration of omics technologies into clinical practice

Dr. Conley directs a fully equipped molecular genomics laboratory with an extensive biorepository of biospecimens from diverse patient populations. Her research program has maintained continuous NIH funding for over 25 years, demonstrating sustained scientific excellence.

She actively mentors doctoral students incorporating omics into their research.

Her laboratory continues to advance understanding of symptom development following neurological insults, with significant implications for developing precision healthcare approaches in nursing practice and education.
