Yutao Liu is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Washington. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago (2023), advised by J. Peter May. His research focuses on algebraic topology, particularly computations in equivariant homotopy theory and analysis of slice spectral sequences using generalized Tate diagrams.
His academic affiliations include the Department of Mathematics and the College of Arts & Sciences at UW. He is based in Padelford Hall (Office C-432) and can be reached via email at yutao492@uw.edu.
Recent work involves collaborative projects on equivariant spectral methods, with presentations at eCHT seminars. His publications explore splitting techniques in equivariant homology and universal spaces, contributing to foundational topics in algebraic topology.
