Yushui Shi is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University's Department of Banking & Finance. He joined the university in 2022, after earning dual Ph.D.s in Economics from Peking University and Finance from the University of California, Irvine.
Research Interests: His work spans empirical asset pricing, investment strategies, and household finance, with interdisciplinary applications of machine learning and social network analysis. He focuses on how psychological factors and real-world trauma influence financial risk-taking.
Recent Publications: His studies analyze trauma's impact on financial behavior (2025), sell-side analyst contradictions (2024), covert financial advisor discrimination (2023), and disaster-induced risk perception shifts (2020). These reflect trends in behavioral finance and data-driven interdisciplinary approaches.
