Professor Yuri Pashkin, a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP) and the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), holds the Chair of Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the Department of Physics, Lancaster University. His research focuses on quantum computing, quantum metrology, and nanoelectromechanical systems using superconducting and hybrid nanocircuits. He collaborates with the Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) group and international theorists, and leads projects at the Quantum Technology Centre.
