Yuliana Rodriguez

Yuliana Rodriguez is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Human Development and Family Science program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Education. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at East Carolina University. Her roles include directing the Senior Honors Thesis Program and supervising undergraduate internships. Rodriguez holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC Greensboro.

Her research focuses on sociocultural factors influencing Mexican immigrant families' well-being and college readiness for Latinx youth. She emphasizes community engagement through marital/relationship education and has received awards recognizing her scholarship and service to Latinx communities.

Rodriguez teaches courses on human lifespan development and family relationships. She is a certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and actively contributes to initiatives promoting Latinx identity awareness and college access.
