Yuhao Sun serves as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor at the Usher Institute within the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, contributing to the Health and Social Care Data-Driven Innovation Talent programme through data-centric educational initiatives.

Research interests center on Health Informatics and Design Informatics, with specialized focus on data-driven service management, value creation frameworks, and urban analytics in post-pandemic contexts. Their work bridges Data Science with social care applications, particularly examining service marketing communications and Python/R-based data structuring for city planning challenges.

Yuhao Sun instructs multiple postgraduate courses including Case Studies in Design Informatics, Value and Value Creation, and Data Types and Structures in Python and R, guiding students through service design integration and data-driven project planning methodologies.
