Yuhao Dai

Dr. Yuhao Dai is a Research Fellow at the Australian National University (ANU) within the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES), specializing in the Climate & Ocean Geoscience department. His research focuses on understanding Southern Ocean dynamics, carbon sequestration mechanisms, and paleoclimate processes. He is affiliated with the Biogeochemistry research group and actively contributes to projects exploring ocean-atmosphere interactions, deep-sea geochemistry, and tectonic processes.

Dr. Dai’s work spans interdisciplinary topics including the role of physical and biological dynamics in CO2 release during deglaciation, magnetic mineralogy of submarine basalts, and the recovery of ocean carbonate chemistry post-paleoclimatic events.
