Yufeng Liu

Dr. Yufeng Liu is a Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, holding positions in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Department of Genetics, and Department of Biostatistics. He is affiliated with the Carolina Center for Genome Sciences and the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on statistical machine learning, high-dimensional data analysis, and bioinformatics, with applications in cancer genomics and neuroimaging.

Dr. Liu earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from The Ohio State University (2004), following an M.S. (2001) and B.S. (1999) from the same institution and Nankai University, respectively.
