Yufan Dong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. She holds a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to her academic career, she worked as an audit senior at Deloitte & Touché, LLP in San Francisco and maintains an active CPA license from California.

Her research investigates auditor behaviors within the frameworks of client business choices, litigation risk, internal controls, and regulatory oversight. She also explores risk factor disclosure and social capital in financial reporting contexts.
