Yuexuan Wu

Yuexuan Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of South Carolina's McCausland College of Arts and Sciences. She develops statistical and machine learning methods for high-dimensional neuroimaging and biological data. Her research aims to understand brain structural changes related to aging and disease through medical image analysis and computational neuroscience.

Key publications include shape-based functional data analysis frameworks (2024), longitudinal modeling of brain subcortical structures (2023), and topological network analysis of Alzheimer's biomarkers (2023). Prior to joining USC, she completed a biostatistics postdoc at the University of Washington and earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from Florida State University.
