Yueh-Yun Chi

Yueh-Yun Chi is Professor of Research Pediatrics and Population & Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and Director of the Biostatistics Core for the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She provides statistical leadership for the Therapeutic Advances in Childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma (TACL) and New Approaches to Neuroblastoma Therapy (NANT) consortia, and previously served as lead statistician for the Children’s Oncology Group renal-tumor and soft-tissue committees at the University of Florida.

Research Interests
Her work spans biostatistical methodology for early-phase and multi-institutional pediatric oncology trials, late-effects & survivorship epidemiology, tumor-induced osteomalacia, and innovative trial-design optimization. She has particular expertise in dose-finding, washout-period optimization, and integration of genomic and metabolomic endpoints into childhood-cancer studies.

Publication Trends
Chi’s 2023-2025 output is dominated by first- or senior-author papers on relapsed leukemia/lymphoma therapies, neuroblastoma phase I combinations, and large cohort analyses of tumor-induced osteomalacia, illustrating her central role in the design, conduct, and reporting of multicenter pediatric trials.
