Yue Liu

Yue Liu (also known as Lucy Liu) is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Edinburgh, alongside an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking, an MBA, and a bachelor's degree in Engineering.

• Research Focus: Mergers and acquisitions, behavioural corporate finance, corporate governance, and content analysis of financial narratives, with interests in cognitive biases affecting corporate decisions.
• Teaching: Courses in Corporate Finance, Principles of Finance, and Behavioural Finance.
• Collaborations: Active in multi-author research on topics like ESG impacts, cybersecurity, and geopolitical risks.
• Awards: Nominated for the EUSA Teaching Award (2011-2012).
