Yuanzhen Shao is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Alabama. He earned his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in Spring 2015 under the supervision of Professor Gieri Simonett and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Purdue University from 2015 to 2017, mentored by Professor Changyou Wang. His research spans partial differential equations, geometric analysis, and mathematical biology.
