Yuan Tian is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at Queen's University, Faculty of Arts and Science. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from Singapore Management University (2017) and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Zhejiang University (2012). Her research focuses on integrating heterogeneous data sources to enhance software engineering practices, including data mining, recommender systems, and social network analysis. Prior to Queen's, she was a data scientist at Living Analytics Research Centre (LARC), SMU. She has held visiting positions at Carnegie Mellon University, INRIA Paris, and SAIL Canada.
