Youssef A. Haddad is a Professor of Arabic Language and Linguistics at the University of Florida's Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on syntax, pragmatics, syntax-pragmatics interface, phonology, and prosodic morphology, with special attention to Levantine Arabic, Standard Arabic, and South Asian languages. He is currently on sabbatical leave from 2023-2024.
