Young Ki Shin

Young Ki Shin is a Professor of Economics at McMaster University, where he has established himself as a leading researcher in econometrics and economic theory. His work bridges theoretical developments with practical applications in statistical methods for economic analysis, with significant contributions to quantile regression, causal inference, and economic modeling.

His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester (2002-2007) and a B.A. from Seoul National University (1996-2001).
