Young B. Choi

Young B. Choi is a Professor in the Department of Engineering & Computer Science at Regent University, specializing in cybersecurity, network security, and healthcare information security. He has held academic positions at institutions including James Madison University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and industry roles at companies like Creative Technology Ltd. and Compaq Computer Corporation. His research focuses on securing telecommunications, healthcare data privacy (HIPAA compliance), and emerging technologies like blockchain. Dr. Choi has served as an associate technical editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine since 2005 and contributed to over 150 refereed publications.
