Professor Youhong Tang is a Matthew Flinders Professor at Flinders University's College of Science and Engineering, leading research in nanoscale science and medical devices. He specializes in advanced composites, biosensors, and aggregation-induced emission (AIE) materials. With a PhD from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2007), he has held positions including ARC-DECRA Fellow and Visiting Scholar roles globally. His honors include the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence in Research Supervision Award (2022) and multiple industry-funded grants. He supervises students in material science and engineering, focusing on structural composites and sustainable technologies.
