Professor You-Gan Wang is a Professor in Data Science at the School of Mathematical Sciences, The University of Queensland. He holds a PhD from the University of Oxford and has held prestigious roles including Chair Professor of Applied Statistics and Director of the Centre for Applications in Natural Resource Mathematics (CARM). His research focuses on statistical methodology, robust inferences, and applications in environmental science, medical research, and natural resource management. He has published over 140 papers with significant impacts in statistical modeling and data science.
