Prof. Yoshiyasu Ida is a Professor at the University of Tsukuba's Faculty of Human Sciences, Division of Education, and currently serves as Vice-Dean of the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences. He leads Japan's geographic education community as President of the Geographic Education Society of Japan and Japanese Association for the Social Studies.
